Dr Kossi AMESSINOU

AMESSINOU Kossi est Docteur en Sciences de l’Information et de la Communication (2018). Il est aussi titulaire d’un Master International en Etudes du Développement (2010) et d’un Master Professionnel en Conception et Gestion de Projets Numériques Territoriaux (2007).
Il a principalement occupé les fonctions suivantes :
Dans la vie professionnelle : (i) Cadre à la Direction Générale des Politiques de Développement du Ministère du Plan (2004-2008) ; (ii) Cadre au Service Informatique du Ministère du Plan (2008- 2009);(iii) Chef du Service Informatique du Ministère du Plan (2009-2015);(iv) Directeur de l’informatique et du Pré-archivage du Ministère du Plan (2015-2017) ; (v) Coordonnateur du Projet de mise en place d’un système performant de pré-archivage au Ministère du Plan (2015-2017) ; (vi) Cadre à la Direction Générale de Financement du Développement du Ministère du Plan (2018).
Dans la vie associative : (i) Membre de FOSSFA depuis 2011 ; (ii) Membre du FGI Bénin depuis son initiation en 2012 ; (iii) Membre de ISOC Bénin depuis 2007 ; (iv) ancien Membre du MAG de l’IGF Monde (2013, 2014 et 2015) ; (v) Vice-Président du Bureau du forum sur la gouvernance de l’internet au Bénin (2017-2019).

Biography of Dr AMESSINOU Kossi
AMESSINOU Kossi is Doctor in Information and Communication Sciences (2018). He also holds an International Master in Development Studies (2010) and Professional Master in Design and Management of Digital Projects (2007).
He mainly occupied the following functions:
In professional life in Benin : (i) Staff member in the General Directorate of Development Policies in the Ministry of Planning (2004-2008); (ii) Staff member in the IT Department of the Ministry of Planning (2008-2009); (iii) Chief of the IT Department of the Ministry of Planning (2009-2015); (iv) Director of Informatics and Pre-Archiving of the Ministry of Planning (2015-2017); (v) Coordinator of the Project to Implement a Successful Pre-Archiving System at the Ministry of Planning (2015-2017); (vi) Staff member in the General Directorate for Financing for Development in the Ministry of Planning (2018).
In the associative life: (i) Member of FOSSFA since 2011; (ii) Member of the IGF Benin since its initiation in 2012; (iii) Member of ISOC Benin since 2007; (iv) Former member of MAG of Global IGF (2013, 2014 and 2015); (v) Vice-Chair of the Internet Governance Forum MAG in Benin (2017-2019).
